On the Cutting Room Floor - Why’d It Have to Be Snakes?
The original storyboard included a snake as the subject that would guide the viewer around the Gates of Hell.
I ended up cutting the snake shots all together, because it’s pretty hard to give a snake stage directions. It was still fun to film!

3D Model of the Gates of Hell by Rodin
Main-on-end title sequence for short film “All In”.
These titles operate as an allegory to the film, with the “Gates of Hell” sculpture by Rodin as the subject. The camera follows the sculpture as if scanning it timidly, growing more familiar with it, and ultimately crescendos with the camera accelerating into the depths of the gate itself, a warning not to get too close and play with death.
