Each Object card (purple back) has the name and picture of an object, as well as a fun fact that may help inspire your next pitch.
Modifier cards explain what the modifier is, and gives additional context to use in your pitch.
At the beginning of the game, there are 2 decks to draw from - a purple deck, which contains object cards, and an orange deck which contains attributes and modifiers. A 3rd yellow deck contains brand cards which will be flipped over at the beginning of each round by the ‘brand master’ (person who goes first). Players decide who goes first based on who the shortest person is, or who is wearing the most colorful socks.
Every player will draw 3 cards from the orange and purple decks and put them in their hands. Gameplay starts when first person is decided and flips over a yellow card, which will represent the company the other teams will pitch their new idea or product to. Players will choose one of each card in their hands and place them facedown in front of them. 30 seconds to 1 minute of prep time will be given for players to formulate a quick pitch for the company. At the end of the time, the person to the left of the brand master will reveal their cards and begin their pitch, which will also last 30 seconds. Players will continue to reveal their new ideas and give their pitches until the last person before they get to the brand master. Now the brand master will decide which product gets his/her vote that their company will go with. That person will receive an investment in the form of the yellow card and it gets added to their “portfolio” and become the new brand master. The game ends when someone has 7 brands in their portfolio.
Another way to play: Players can either draw 3 cards from each pile and create their own carefully formulated pitches and begin pitching to the group, or for added fun players may also choose one of each card type and pass a purple one to the left and an orange one to the right, facedown. Players will begin the game without prep time and will have to pitch on the spot what their new product is to the brand master.
